UPDATE 05/15/2022:
======================================================================
Dana is the big surprise of the transport. On the photos she sold herself far below value - she is a beauty with funny spots and a beautiful doll face. There is no denying that she is a Chi-Bodeguero mix. Dana is very cuddly and has many helpers wrapped around her finger as a result. At the moment Dana lives in 79346 Endingen on a foster home - but not for long... she will be adopted very soon, we are sure!

UPDATE as of 11/05/2022:
======================
DANA, the pretty Bodeguera mix lady with the bat ears has done splendidly. She has overcome her fear. And also the fate has meant it well with her: From the 14.05.2022 she can go to Germany and is looking forward to welcome her future family in 79346 Endingen - there Dana is on foster home.
Dana is one of the few dogs who were lucky in the true sense of the word. She was in the municipal killing center Resur in the district of Jaen (Andalusia) and was already on the kill list. Teresa, our animal guardian angel of Al-Bayyasa was able to save her. The little Bodeguera mix was originally taken from the streets by animal catchers and that's how her little body looked like. She was very dirty, had inflamed eyes, sores on her body and her belly was full of parasites, making it as round as a balloon.
You can tell that this little one has not had a lot of good things in her life so far. She is very reserved and always needs time to assess her counterpart. But she is making steady progress and is very happy about food and petting. Walking on a leash is still difficult for her, she seems to have seen a leash for the first time in her life.
For Dana we wish an adopter with a lot of tact and patience. Dana still needs some work, but from experience we can say that the thanks will come back a thousandfold! It is an advantage if there is already a sovereign dog or even a pack. Often dogs like Dana then really blossom!
Can you imagine offering a home to the reserved Dana? She travels like all our dogs chipped, vaccinated (rabies and 5-fold), dewormed, tested for Mediterranean diseases, spayed and equipped with EU pet passport into a new life! Ariane Thoma, her contact person is looking forward to your call.
