My name is Coloma and I am a Podenca mixed breed dog.
For as long as I can remember I have been living in “La Ginesta”, a shelter for abandoned, abused, neglected and sick dogs in northeastern Spain.
Fate also hit me hard at a young age: I was "disposed of" like superfluous ballast in the mountains of Catalonia, that I did not pay for this disposal with my life, I owe to a group of English tourists who seriously injured me during a mountain hike , half starved to death and thirsty in a mountain gorge and who could not reconcile it with their conscience could leave me to certain death there.
So I ended up in “La Ginesta” and it is fortunate that I survived the ordeals to which I was exposed in the mountains for a long time without damage. That means I have not suffered any consequential damage.
The people in La Ginesta took good care of me, and I've now fully recovered.
Of course I am grateful to fate that my two-year dog life is not over yet, but I dream of having a person all to myself: a person with a big heart who has a little patience and understanding for me. I am considered a shy dog ​​in La Ginesta, I am not afraid but just careful and it takes a bit until I can regain confidence.

And I would love to be able to trust a person who takes care of me, walks with me and plays with me. Maybe you would like to go to a dog school with me?
