Bimba has her vaccinations and is free of parasites. She also has her EU passport. She could pack her suitcase immediately and go on her journey.
The story of this elegant beauty is very sad and has moved us to tears. Bimba once lived in an animal shelter. One day a young couple came to adopt a dog and first fell in love with her friend Hera. (is also on the website of Animal Friends Europe). Since they also liked Bimba, they decided to adopt both of them shortly. The beautiful time in the family for the two Galgas lasted only three years, a baby was added and the happiness of all seemed complete. However, this happiness did not last and as fate would have it, the baby's mother contracted cancer and died a few months later.
The sadness in the house was unbearable, because it was the mother and wife who took care of Bimba and Hera every day, caring for them and spending time with them.
In this new situation, the husband felt overwhelmed to take care of the two four-legged friends in the same way as walking and keeping the galgas busy as they were used to, so he asked our veterinarian for advice if he could help him. Adrián called our Protectora ARMANTES and asked if we could help the "little angels". It's obvious that we help, that's what we are here for. So we headed there and at first sight of them we were immediately thrilled and fell in love with both of them. When they saw us, they immediately approached us and gladly accepted our caresses without knowing us.
The pretty and elegant appearance and good nature of the Galgas, have something special and we would have loved to adopt both of them right away, but all of them already have more than one dog at home.

It was so wonderful to see them coming off the leash and running right away, playing with each other and coming back to us. They were happy to feel the freedom again, without bars, without confinement.

Running around freely is what a Galgo loves and needs. During the walk, all the people who came to meet us were greeted and invited to play, wagging their tails. All the more we were so sorry that we had to lock them up again in their cramped kennels when we left Adrián's kennel again. Unfortunately, they are only allowed to leave their kennel for a short time two or three times a week. For a Galgo a torture.

We are looking for a loving family with a big heart for Bimba. Bimba does not cause any problems, as she has already lived happily in a family. Galgos are quiet representatives in the house and are real sofa dogs. But outside they are all the more agile and even obey.

Bimba has excellent and lovely character traits and we hope that she will soon find a family where she can be happy again. This family will never regret having adopted this little angel.
