Luigi's start in life was not a good one. He lived in a household in the south of Andalusia with many, many dogs. Misunderstood, pathological "love of animals"... the former owner was an animal hoarder and also suffered from littering syndrome. The Guardia Civil intervened and was able to save most of the dogs... for some it was too late, unfortunately their condition was already more than critical.

We don't know what Luigi has experienced, but we are sure that it has made him doubt humanity. The beautiful Bodeguero dog once had a home, but his owner did not want to work with him in the medium or long term. The reason she gave him up was that he barks. Well... as the writer, I will leave the whole thing uncommented. It is quite common for dogs to bark when there is noise in the stairwell or when the doorbell rings. Through intensive work with Luigi, we have also discovered that he has had negative experiences with men. He is very hesitant to open up to them. That is why we would prefer a convinced single lady who will declare Luigi to be her favorite dog. It would also be desirable if he were an only dog. No matter how you approach him, Bodi is not interested in long walks and certainly not in playing encounters. He wants his warm basket, good food and his beloved toy, that is all Luigi needs for a happy life.

We humans also have our rough edges… that’s why dogs should be allowed to have them too!
