Normally, having a baby is a happy event. But not every dog has a good start in life, not every new life is warmly and lovingly welcomed into this world. This was the case with Nina and her five siblings.

Early in the morning, Bettina received a Whatsapp from her adopter and great Galgo lover Nina. A Galgo bitch with six small puppies was presented on the homepage of the Resur killing station in Jaen. Experience shows that old dogs and puppies have the worst cards. We couldn't look away, every dog deserves a chance to be rescued. We had to act quickly, firstly to ensure that the family was safe and secondly to clarify the financial aspects, i.e. every dog must be chipped in Spain. Of course, the animals also needed health care. The mom, who we named Sunny (she is also in placement) had a severe purulent inflammation in her abdomen. Many thanks for the financial support to all donors.

All puppies survived and mother Sunny is also doing well and is in a caring kennel near Baeza until her departure.

All the puppies are lively, healthy, hungry, carefree and love life.

Each of the puppies is very special. The mother is undoubtedly a noble Galga, the father is probably a Golden Retriever - but has not left a business card to avoid maintenance payments 😉
