Having a baby is usually a happy event. But not every dog has a good start in life, not every new life is warmly and lovingly welcomed into this world. This was the case for Tina and her five siblings.

Early in the morning, Bettina received a Whatsapp message from her adopter and great Galgo lover, Nina. A Galgo bitch with six small puppies was presented on the homepage of the Resur killing station in Jaen. Experience shows that old dogs and puppies have the worst cards. We couldn't look away, every dog deserves a chance to be saved. We had to act quickly, firstly to ensure the safety of the family and secondly to clarify the financial aspects, i.e. every dog must be chipped in Spain. Of course, the animals also needed medical care. The mother, who we named Sunny (she is also in the shelter), had a severe purulent infection in her abdomen. Many thanks to all donors for their financial support.

All puppies survived and mother Sunny is doing well and is in a caring kennel near Baeza until she leaves.

All puppies are lively, healthy, hungry, carefree and love life.
Each puppy is very special. The mother is undoubtedly a noble Galga, the father is probably a Golden Retriever - but he did not leave a business card to avoid alimony payments 😉 .
